Join us for our February luncheon to hear from Megan Mills of The Friends of the Lowcountry Lowline. Megan will update us on the transformative Lowcountry Lowline Project, which will revitalize 1.7 miles of abandoned railway into a dynamic green space. This initiative aims to foster community connectivity, mitigate flooding, and ensure safe pedestrian and cyclist paths, thereby enhancing health and wellness across Charleston.
Additionally, the luncheon will spotlight American Heart Month, featuring Jenn Waites from the American Heart Association, Charleston. She will highlight the Go Red for Women initiative and discuss the critical topic of women’s heart health.
