
Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour of The Cooper Hotel
Join us for a special opportunity to preview downtown Charleston’s first waterfront hotel — The Cooper — developed by the Beemok Hospitality Collection. Attendees will be guided on a behind-the-scenes tour by the project’s General Contractor, BL Harbert.
Located at 176 Concord Street, adjacent to Joe Riley Waterfront Park, The Cooper Hotel will feature:
• A six-story, 209-key, 288,000-square-foot hotel
• Ballroom, conference space, and service kitchen
• Restaurant and 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space
• Rooftop lounge, elevated pool, and sea wall
• Panoramic views of the Charleston harbor and skyline
This historic site, formerly the State Ports Authority headquarters, also includes the expansion of Waterfront Park, adding approximately 400 feet of public waterfront walking area next to the Charleston Maritime Center.
Important Information:
Due to ongoing construction, the tour is limited to the first 25 registrants
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Please bring your own hard hat and wear closed-toe shoes
Event Details:
Time: Tour begins at 4:00 PM, with a networking happy hour to follow until 6:00 PM
Meeting Location: Outside the entrance to the hotel construction site
Parking: Parking is not provided. Participants are encouraged to use the Concord Cumberland Garage or Concord Street Garage
Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes and appropriate PPE are required for access to the construction site
Happy Hour:
Following the tour, attendees are invited to a networking happy hour on the rooftop of The Vendue – Charleston’s Art Hotel
