Join CREW Charleston for a discussion on the revitalization of River’s Avenue. The luncheon will bring together community advocates, property and business owners, and public-sector leaders to discuss redevelopment efforts, opportunities, and the future of this important North Charleston area.

The conversation will be led by Senator Ed Sutton, Associate at NAI Charleston, area property owner, and South Carolina State Senator representing the 20th District.

He will be joined by:

  • Adam MacConnell — Director Community Development and Innovation, Office of the Mayor, City of North Charleston

  • Steve Dudash — Director of Special Projects, Navy Yard

  • Jon and Erin Carpenter — Reynolds Avenue and community redevelopment advocates and area business owners

The panel will explore the vision for River’s Avenue, current and planned redevelopment initiatives, the naval hospital redevelopment efforts, and the opportunities and challenges facing businesses and property owners along the corridor.

This discussion offers CREW Charleston members an opportunity to hear directly from those involved in shaping the area’s redevelopment and to gain insight into what the future may hold for River’s Avenue and the surrounding community.
